CPAmerica International Partners with Feathr to Release Event and Networking Mobile App
Gainesville, FL (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- CPAmerica International, an association of independent accounting firms, has partnered with Feathr, a mobile app startup, to create a mobile app to digitally enhance networking between members during conferences.
The mobile app, created by Feathr, allows event attendees to quickly connect via LinkedIn, Twitter or email; jot down notes based on their interactions; interact more closely with sponsors and exhibitors; and keep a complete agenda of the event programming directly on their smartphones.
“Our attendees enjoy getting to know each other and building long-lasting relationships,” said Alan Deichler, president of CPAmerica. “This is yet another way that they can continue to build those relationships and that we can have our live event interact with their digital presence.”
Feathr, founded by Aidan Augustin and Neal Ormsbee, during their time as UF engineering undergraduate students, recently beat approximately 300 startup companies from around the world to win Capital Factory’s second annual “Move Your Startup to Austin” competition.
The mobile app is available in iTunes and Google Play stores.
