CPiO Announce A Payroll Event As New Sage 50 Tests Continue
(PRWEB UK) 23 October 2013 -- Earlier this year Sage announced it would end its support for the Sage 500 and Sage 1000 payroll in April 2015, in anticipation of Sage’s full and final release of its migration option to Sage 50 payroll.
Sage has been vigorously testing the new Sage 50 payroll against its current Sage Line 500/Sage ERP 1000 software. Payroll consultants at the leading IT service provider CPIO have been testing a beta version. The integration toolkit for Line500 v6+ will be available to download from Sage's ftp site from 1st November. This release coincides with the release of Sage 50 Payroll v20 - Auto Enrolment Edition, which will also be available during November.
CPiO has organised a Payroll event for customers on Thursday 21st November at Fort Dunlop to explain the changes in greater detail and to discuss migration programmes for individual businesses.
Gary Hardy, Sage Support Manager at CPiO, says: “There will now be two options, Sage 50 Payroll and for customers with more complex payroll requirements, there's the Snowdrop KCS Solution.”
The IT service provider is aware that client’s feel some urgency about this and meed toe decisions regarding their payroll commenting”CPiO has to ensure that the solution is entirely stable and that all of the available options are understood. The business is requesting that customers kindly bear with us during this period whilst our own testing and investigations are completed.
“The Sage 50 Payroll will still process multi-company and multiple payrolls. There will be certain levels of user accessibility depending on which details are being looked at. Companies will of course still be able to keep records of holidays, absence, salary and any other history on file. Our Payroll Event on the 21st November will delve into the changes more deeply”.
