CradlePoint Introduces Best-in-Class Enterprise Networking Solutions Including AER 2100 to European Customers, Partners, and Operators at 2014 Mobile World Congress
Barcelona, SPAIN (PRWEB) February 24, 2014 -- CradlePoint, the global leader in cloud-managed, 3G/4G networking solutions for distributed enterprises, today announced the immediate availability of the CradlePoint AER 2100, Advanced Edge Router at the 2014 Mobile World Congress in Spain. The CradlePoint AER 2100 (pronounced “AIR”) is designed to support and scale to the unique networking needs of distributed enterprises at branch locations. The CradlePoint AER 2100 will be demoed as a cloud-managed networking solution in stand 5J20 at the 2014 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
CradlePoint’s solutions will be distributed directly into Europe through its earlier announced partnership with UK-based distributor, Westbase Technology. The European market is predominately made up of mobile broadband networking solutions that are compatible with 3G networks and do not offer the enterprise-grade performance, management, reliability, and LTE connectivity that CradlePoint’s solutions afford.
In its booth, CradlePoint will also feature its cloud-managed ARC and COR networking solutions, which are certified to support 4G LTE across Europe. The CradlePoint ARC solutions are used in a variety of enterprise applications for wireless failover and primary connectivity. The CradlePoint COR series is used for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications like kiosks, digital signage, vehicles, and CCTV.
As a cloud-managed solution, the CradlePoint AER 2100 balances the strengths of both wired and wireless networks through WAN Diversity™, the convergence of 4G LTE, Ethernet (DSL, Cable, T1, MetroE), and WiFi as WAN, all delivered through a single networking device. This unique function allows organizations to leverage existing networking capabilities, as well as expand its support of 4G as operators increase their coverage.
With CradlePoint Enterprise Cloud Manager, network administrators can easily configure, deploy, manage, and monitor on-premise network equipment in real-time from a central location, enabling significantly lower operating costs. With an established customer base of Fortune 200 multi-national brands in North America, CradlePoint anticipates that the AER 2100 will provide distributed enterprises with the lowest 5-year Total Cost of Ownership.
“CradlePoint’s commitment to the broader European market kicked off at this week’s Mobile World Congress as it demonstrates the value of 4G LTE to the operator and enterprise market,” said George Mulhern, CEO and Chairman of the Board at CradlePoint. “We are quickly ramping up operations and expanding partnerships to better meet the demand of Europe’s enterprise customers. With our entire suite of solutions being LTE-enabled, CradlePoint looks to build on the momentum that it has experienced throughout North America and deliver proven and reliable solutions that improve operations, lower costs and optimize customers’ network connections.”
The introduction of CradlePoint AER 2100 to Europe provides distributed enterprises with enhanced performance, reliability and immediate cost savings. Key features of the CradlePoint AER 2100 include:
- WAN Diversity™ with integrated wired and wireless 4G LTE WAN (including private network support)
