Crawford Entertainment's “The Outsiders Club” Awarded Regional Emmy
LAKE MARY, FL (PRWEB) December 13, 2015 -- “The Outsiders Club,” produced by Crawford Entertainment of Lake Mary, Florida, has won an Emmy Award for Children/Youth/Teen Programs in the 39th Annual Suncoast Emmy Awards. “The Outsiders Club” is a fast-paced 30-minute TV series starring four kids whose adventures exploring nature, and even in the kitchen, model ways to pursue a healthier and more active nature-connected lifestyle. Upon winning the Emmy, Series Creator & Director, Chad Crawford said, “I'm very passionate about getting kids outside and active, which was the inspiration for the series.” The TV series is produced by Amanda Kossina along with Len DePanicis as Executive Producer. The presenting sponsor for the series was Fresh for Florida Kids and additional sponsorship was also provided by Florida State Parks. The 13 episode series was syndicated by The Television Syndication Company for a Summer 2015 run throughout markets in Florida.
Each episode of “The Outsiders Club” features an outdoor adventure, such as sailing, camping, or hiking, where a “kid expert” shows the young hosts how to do each activity. There’s also an outdoor-related project that kids can do, such as build a zipline or a reptile cage. A trip to the “Fuel Lab” shows kids how to make healthy food and teaches that “food is fuel” for the energy they need to have fun outside.
