CRDF Global Celebrates 20 Years of Science and Technology Collaboration, Names 20th Anniversary Honorary Committee
(PRWEB) July 21, 2015 -- Independent nonprofit CRDF Global announced today its distinguished 20th Anniversary Honorary Committee, comprised of esteemed leaders and pioneers who have made indispensable contributions across the spectrum of international science, technology and innovation. The Honorary Committee will join in celebrating the organization’s 20th anniversary, which will culminate with the CRDF Global Annual Gala at The Decatur House on Lafayette Square, Washington, DC, November 18. The 20th anniversary is a milestone that demonstrates the continued importance of the organization’s mission to promote international scientific and technical collaboration to improve the lives of people around the world. CRDF Global is an independent nonprofit organization that promotes this cross-borders collaboration through grants, technical resources, training and services.
The Honorary Committee includes previous members of CRDF Global’s Board of Directors and Advisory Council, as well as past Gala honorees, speakers and co-chairs.

The CRDF Global Annual Gala is a unifying celebration for the international scientific community and industry leaders. This year, Dr. Peter Agre, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor and Director, Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute, will receive the George Brown Award for International Scientific Cooperation for his work advancing international collaboration in science and medicine and his active commitment to science diplomacy.
This year’s Corporate Impact Award will go to DuPont, a leader in research, development and innovation. DuPont is a globally recognized corporation that collaborates with partners around the world to create science-based solutions to real challenges, including food security, energy, healthcare, and workplace safety.
