Creative Concepts & Design builds more than 100 high-end, premium decks per year, mainly AZEK® capped polymer decking with the natural colors their customers desire. “We never have a problem color-matching or finding the right shade for customers,” said Hunt. “We use AZEK to create double divider boards and task area separations using color and also do a lot of picture framing around the perimeter —its workability and clean miter cuts are key to our designs.” They fasten the boards using both the hand-held CAMO Marksman Pro and the Edge Pro stand-up collated edge fastening system, that allows the user to stand and move along the board quickly and efficiently. “The AZEK and CAMO products work well together,” he added.
“Along with overall deck integrity, we do like the ergonomics and speed of the Edge Pro, which allows the installer to stand and move along the board when installing the CAMO system’s screws,” he said. “These screws have incredible strength, won’t shear off and hold up well long-term.”
