CrossFit Outbreak Hosts New Boot Camp Training Session at No Cost
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- CrossFit is the latest fitness movement and lifestyle to sweep the United States, and soon-to-open CrossFit Outbreak is getting people involved, free of charge.
The gym, which is the first CrossFit training facility to open in the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn, New York, is hosting a boot camp training session every Saturday in the Fort Greene Park. Anyone interested can meet by the Ship Martyr's Monument at 9:30 & 10:30 in the morning.
"Our boot camp is designed for maximum intensity in the shortest amount of time," says Crossfit Outbreak’s Owner / Head Coach Shimi Litkowski. "We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, challenge your body, and most importantly make fitness fun."
CrossFit Outbreak's free boot camp is a combination of exercises that focus on strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns. The classes are designed to provide time efficient training. Each session lasts for about an hour, taking a holistic approach to fitness.
"You get everything you need," explains CrossFit Outbreak’s Owner Adam Sturm. "At boot camp, we utilize the principle of muscle confusion. You will never do the same workout twice. Why is this good? Because your body will never adapt and you will keep on getting stronger and fitter."
The free boot camp training sessions are being offered to promote the gym's new opening, which will come in October 2014.
"We are hoping that by drawing people into our boot camp, we will then be able to turn them on to CrossFit and sign them up as members," says Coach Litkowski.
About 15 people attended the first boot camp, which was wildly successful. The gym received "overwhelmingly positive" feedback.
"We started CrossFit Outbreak to provide our community with the best coaching and boot camp experience in Brooklyn," notes Owner Adam Sturm. "In true CrossFit fashion our workouts are designed to be broad, varied and inclusive. Our programming is designed for any fitness level."
