Crowdfund Inventory With Kickfurther: Own Lot Of A Brand’s Products, Control Profit with Sales
Boulder, Colorado (PRWEB) July 20, 2016 -- Kickfurther - the leading inventory crowdfunding marketplace that connects companies and individuals - now enables Buyers to purchase specific lots of inventory, called Packs.
“Since we launched Kickfurther, we’ve prioritized access and flexibility for our community – providing typical income earners access to lucrative short term profit opportunities in the retail market,” said Sean De Clercq, Kickfurther Co-Founder & CEO. “But rather than sell fractionalized pieces of inventory, which doesn’t happen in the retail world, we’re now giving Buyers the opportunity to earn lucrative profits from the consignment sale and direct sale of inventory included in the Pack.”
The upgrade enables the Kickfurther platform to feature “First Out Sales” functionality, which allows Buyers to receive preferential payouts if they originate sales of Consigned Inventory they purchased. Buyers who originate a sale of the Consigned Inventory already receive 5% of the purchase price for the sale. Sales from other Buyers can only benefit all of those taking part in a Consignment Opportunity and cannot negatively affect the payouts received by other Buyers. More details on these upgrades can be found on the Kickfurther blog Packs and Payouts.
Brands need to pay suppliers upfront to keep products in stock. They also need to market their brand. Buyers want to profit in the retail market while minimizing the time, money, and risks involved. By working together, both groups get a better deal.
