Cryptzone Appoints Kurt Glazemakers as CTO

Glazemakers will be directly responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for the next generation of Cryptzone’s award-wining portfolio of solutions, including AppGate®, a dynamic, context aware security gateway that prevents unauthorized access; HiSoftware Security Sheriff® an integrated classification, encryption and content protection solution for SharePoint®, Office 365 and File Shares; Simple Encryption PlatformTM to secure data in email, removable storage, files and folders; and Compliance Sheriff TM to provide content governance for public websites, intranets and extranets.

Prior to joining Cryptzone, he served as CTO of CloudFounders, a developer of advanced private cloud technologies for IT-as-a-Service solutions. Glazemakers also served as Terremark’s CTO Europe (now part of Verizon) and was responsible for the development of Enterprise Cloud.
Throughout his career, Glazemakers has focused on the development of innovative solutions that increase the availability, security and scalability of mission-critical infrastructures. He holds a Master of Engineering, Telecommunications and Computer Networks from Universiteit Gent in Belgium.
