Culture of Care Spread in Ontario Community by Benson Kearley IFG’s Home for Holidays Contest
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) October 24, 2013 -- From October 28th – November 3rd Benson Kearley IFG’s team will be at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario happily waiting to capture your story about who you won’t see this holiday season, and why.
All that is needed is a story explaining why being together isn’t possible this season. It could be inspiring, encouraging, heartfelt, sweet or funny.
“The holiday season is a special time for families, and we wanted to give back to our community in a powerful way," says Stephen Kearley, president of BKIFG. "We have embraced conscious capitalism as the way we do business, so bringing families together at this special time of year was a meaningful fit with this philosophy.”
Benson Kearley IFG’s core values have always included being an active part of their community and consciously making a positive impact where they work and live. Home for Holidays is a give back to the local community to help reunite a family that desperately wants to be together during the holiday season but can’t for various reasons.
Contest winners from 2012 include the McGregor family and the Madrinan family (respectively; flown from Vancouver and from Spain) and 2011 winners include the Santos family and Chaplan family (respectively; flown from Nova Scotia and from Alberta).
Contest entries can be made by visiting Benson Kearley IFG at Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket to capture stories or by submitting a story online. The submission deadline is Sunday, November 3, 2013.
Benson Kearley IFG is well known for developing and maintaining strong relationships in the region and giving back to the local community. Their most notable recent give back was hosting Toronto Maple Leaf’s goalie, James Reimer, for a public autograph signing and a Leafs ticket giveaway.
