Currant Incident Management System Launches Drone Feed Integration
Newark, NJ (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- Currant Inc. has announced the launch of CurrantDRONE, a feature of their online incident management system that will incorporate live data feeds from unmanned aerial vehicles directly into CurrantGRID, a web-based platform used by emergency managers and first responders.

Data from CurrantDRONE can feed directly into CurrantGRID, where it can be reviewed and workflowed from the safety of a mobile command center. OEM coodinators can use this real-time data to efficiently evaluate a situation and determine a specific response. Teams of responders can then be organized, prioritized, and assigned with the click of a mouse. Drones can also be used to drop supplies, medicine, and information to those awaiting rescue.
Currant Inc. was founded in 2013 by Denise Spell. It provides an efficient solution for towns, utility companies, and emergency management personnel to evaluate, manage, and respond to natural disasters and emergencies. In addition to CurrantDRONE, the incident management system also features SocialSolve, whereby responders can scrub social media sites such as Twitter for hashtags and keywords relating to a disaster in order to glean information from those experiencing it first-hand. The system also features a neighborhood app by which everyday citizens can share information such as where to find gas, groceries, and shelter during an emergency.
