- During the event: The very first item of business is to create a conversation and project it on a large screen at the event. Attendees will be able to see a conversation in real time and will be tempted to join the fun by adding their commentary. Make sure attendees know how to join the conversation by posting instructions on how to access the conversation. Also, make the hashtag visible for all to see. Designate a person to respond to attendee input as they participate in the conversation.
- After the event: Continue to use your hashtag. Now that people know about it, you've built some brand awareness. Capitalize on that and strengthen your brand with continued use of your hashtag.
