Cyber Security and Connected Technology Highlight Panel Discussions Slated for SAE 2015 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition in September

WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) June 09, 2015 -- Two topics that dominate in today’s headlines – cybersecurity and connectivity – will lead a full list of panel discussions on the agenda at the SAE 2015 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition. The conference will be held Sept. 22-24 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Wash.

Boeing is providing Executive Leadership for the biennial event.

  • “With Connectivity, Comes Risks – Cybersecurity and Safety” will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 1:30 p.m. The panel will explore how to better define cybersecurity, understand the threat and risk of cybersecurity, what standards are in development and help attendees understand how to look to develop a cybersecurity culture.
  • “Connected Aircraft Evolution” will be held Thursday, Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. The panel will highlight key issues that this evolving industry is facing, discuss potential solutions and foster dialogue among panel participants and attendees on new approaches and ideas.

Working with a theme of “Global Partners: Shaping the Future of Aerospace,” the SAE 2015 AeroTech Congress will offer relevant, timely technical sessions and presentations. In addition, the event features: Technical Sessions: Experts in the aerospace industry will present relevant and stimulating information; Peer-to-Peer Networking: Special networking sessions that will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet and mingle with other aerospace professionals; Industry Leadership Insights: Aerospace leaders will serve as keynote speakers, delivering a vision for the industry; and Exhibition: Aerospace-related industries from around the world will be on hand with their latest offerings.
