CyraCom’s Healthcare Language Services User Summit Returns
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) August 26, 2015 -- Hospital language service leaders and healthcare experts will once again converge at CyraCom’s Healthcare Language Services User Summit, taking place October 21-23, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The event will focus on challenges faced by language service programs today: supporting increasing numbers of Limited English Proficient patients, managing Joint Commission audits, and adapting to budgets that continue to tighten.
Taking place at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, the hotel is one of the few worldwide with an architectural imprint left by respected American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Attendees will discuss how language service leaders can grow in the changing healthcare industry. Steve Pemberton, the Chief Diversity Officer at Walgreens, will serve as the event’s opening keynote speaker. Other scheduled speakers include experts from the Joint Commission, major healthcare organizations, and the American Hospital Association.
“Attendees have told me CyraCom presented one of the best educational events they ever attended,” said Austin Wade, the Company’s Vice President of Client Satisfaction. “We believe our annual Healthcare Language Services User Summit is another aspect of CyraCom’s strategic partnership with its clients.”
Participants will also enjoy peer networking with other hospital language service leaders from across the country. "It’s really nice to see that we’re a part of something bigger. I loved meeting other people who are just as passionate about serving diverse patients. We can all work together towards the same goal,” said Carla Fogaren, System Director of Diversity Initiatives and Interpreter Services, ADA Coordinator at Steward Health.
The Summit will conclude with a guided tour of CyraCom’s Phoenix facility, giving attendees an inside look at one of CyraCom’s large-scale interpreter contact center operations. CyraCom’s seven large-scale interpreter centers include the Phoenix location and a new center in Queens, New York.
