DAB Loodswezen Deploys Lenovo Mobile Access Solution Powered By Macheen

The North Sea is dangerous and difficult to navigate with some of the heaviest commercial shipping traffic in the world. Ships must contend with heavy sea lane traffic across a complicated and treacherous series of sandbanks and inland waterways. DAB Loodswezen deployed a Lenovo Mobile Access Pinpoint Service to enable seamless, continuous and secure mobile broadband coverage over its entire area of operations. This Pinpoint Service offers a customized zone not bound by geographical constraints, which enables uninterrupted connectivity and predictability in monthly mobile data costs. Now DAB Loodswezen’s service coverage is always in its “home zone”, eliminating roaming charges and putting an end to dangerous drops in connectivity caused by signal switching between Belgian and Dutch carriers.
