Dacor Recognized for Excellence with International GOOD DESIGN Award
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 26, 2016 -- Two products from Dacor®, a Southern California-based manufacturer of ultra-premium kitchen appliances, were included in the highly anticipated announcement of the international GOOD DESIGN® Awards 2015. Both the Discovery® 30-inch Fully Integrated Refrigerator and Renaissance® 48-inch Self-Cleaning Gas Range received awards, further demonstrating Dacor’s commitment to offering luxury appliances that elevate the cooking experience for home chefs. This is the third consecutive year Dacor has received GOOD DESIGN Awards for its products.
“These awards are considered symbols of the company's commitment to innovation and superior design,” said Dacor President and CEO Chuck Huebner. “The GOOD DESIGN Award recognizes both products as testaments to Dacor’s pursuit of excellence.”
The Discovery 30-inch Fully Integrated Refrigerator enables home chefs to store ingredients at the perfect humidity and temperature for optimal preservation. By using state-of-the-art exterior Glass Touch control, refrigerator compartments can be precisely adjusted in two zones, including one that adjusts from freezing to refrigerating temperatures.
The Renaissance Self-Cleaning Range features dual-stacked burners—the ultimate in range-top control. These high-performing burners can easily transition from searing at high temperatures to simmering and melting at ultra-low temperatures. The oven cell includes a three-part convection system and an infrared ceramic broiler to ensure perfect results every time.
Other recipients of the GOOD DESIGN Award include Fortune 500 companies HP, Apple, Boeing and Tesla.
