Dacor® to Introduce World's First Cooking Appliances With Integrated Android Interface at 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show® (CES)
Los Angeles (PRWEB) December 19, 2013 -- Dacor®, manufacturer of ultra-premium kitchen appliances will introduce the world’s first “smart” appliances at the 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show® (CES), the largest consumer technology tradeshow in the world. The company will unveil its new products at two media events including CES Unveiled LAS VEGAS January 5th and ShowStoppers® @ CES January 7th.
Dacor will introduce its new Discovery™ iQ 48” Dual-Fuel Range—the world’s first range to feature a proprietary Discovery™ iQ Cooking Application accessed through an integrated Android™ interface. The Cooking Application eliminates the guesswork in preparing popular dishes and family recipes through a pre-programmed guide that enables users to prepare a wide range of dishes with the touch of a finger. Dacor will also demonstrate its Discovery iQ remote capabilities, which frees users to control their appliances from any room in the home or anywhere they have Wi-Fi connectivity. The remote application will be available for both Android and iOS™ devices.
The company will also showcase its Discovery™ iQ 30” Wall Oven, featuring the integrated Discovery iQ Controller for Android™; and its Discovery WineStation®, a revolutionary product that enables users to enjoy a restaurant or winery tasting room experience in the comfort of their own home. The four-bottle, commercial-grade wine dispenser and preservation system keeps the wine exactly as the vintner intended for up to 60 days after opening and allows users to pour anywhere from a one-fourth ounce taste, up to a full eight-ounce glass.
“We are pleased to participate again this year in the most anticipated consumer technology conference in the world,” said Steve Joseph, president of Dacor. “Our new products are breaking ground in the kitchen appliance industry with smart technology that makes cooking an extension of the connected lifestyle. We look forward to sharing these new innovations with the media.”
