Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio becomes a Locally Owned Company
Dublin, OH (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- For Bob Allen, it’s more about the journey than the finish line.
His journey began over 20 years ago as a Performance Coach for the Dale Carnegie Training franchise in upstate NY and has led to his becoming CEO of the Dale Carnegie Training franchise of Central Ohio. As of November 18, 2013, Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio is officially announcing that it is a locally owned company. The organization is solely owned by Bob Allen & Associates, an Ohio Corporation, providing world famous Dale Carnegie professional training programs to more than 40 counties comprising the Central Ohio territory.
Founded in 1912, Dale Carnegie Training® has evolved from one man's belief in the power of self-improvement to a performance-based training company with offices worldwide. The focus of Dale Carnegie Training® has always been on giving people in business the opportunity to sharpen their skills and improve their performance in order to build positive, steady, and profitable results. Bob Allen & Associates strives to deliver Dale Carnegie's global reach to the local community by offering private classes, team training and corporate solutions to organizations and individuals throughout Central Ohio.
Previously a Pennsylvania-based company, Dale Carnegie of Central Ohio now has greater autonomy to provide a wider variety of programs while focusing fully on the particular interests of their Central Ohio Partners. The organization will now be more immediate and reactive to the interests of local clients. Under the current teams' efforts this year, the Dublin based training organization has achieved the status of one of the top ten fastest growing Dale Carnegie Franchises in North America.
Clients will see a greater variety of program offerings as well as an expansion in territory reach. Essentially, Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio is now offering more core programs in more locations than ever before. Partners will have more convenient access to key programs more often. In addition, a variety of on-site, competency-based workshops will be offered. Dale Carnegie Training is committed to enhancing the performance of their own team through continuous certification programs for their trainers and performance coaches, while adding additional qualified personnel to their highly trained staff.
Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio is a veteran-owned company and a proud supporter of several veterans' groups. They also work closely with Big Brothers Big Sisters, training mentors to properly support the unique needs of disadvantaged children in Central Ohio. Additionally, they have trained the past two Miss Ohio’s by providing scholarships into the Communications and High Impact Presentations programs to help these young women prepare to compete in the Miss America pageant. They also work closely with the Miss Ohio International program to help promote diabetes awareness.
To enhance the skill sets of future corporate leaders, Dale Carnegie of Central Ohio is currently working, in conjunction with other Dale Carnegie Franchises, on a program for at-risk teenagers. Together the group of franchises has started a group called “Life Skills” and are contributing to a grant proposal to bring money into Ohio for less-advantaged youths in their community.
Dale Carnegie Training of Central Ohio works tirelessly for community development, giving presentations for local Trade Associations, helping such organizations grow their memberships. Their trainers also present every year at the Ohio Recruiters Association's Annual Workshop and offer quarterly workshops at the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center, an incubator for new small businesses. Bob Allen & Associates has made a commitment to give back to the community that, says Allen, “has given us so much.”
