Dallas Car Accident Attorney Tom Carse Weighs In On Report About D-Link Downtown Bus Route
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 30, 2013 -- A new public transportation route linking some of Dallas’s busiest locations could go a long way in preventing car accidents, according to Tom Carse, a car accident attorney in Dallas at the Carse Law Firm.
The Dallas News (“Free Dallas route links hot spots in downtown, Uptown, Oak Cliff,” November 3) revealed that D-Link, a free 60-stop route linking many of the city’s busiest destinations, debuted in early November, offering Dallas residents an alternative method of transportation to some of the city’s busiest areas.
“With the debut of the D-Link connecting the downtown and Uptown districts, we hope that commuters and visitors alike will embrace this brand new means of transportation around the city,” said Carse, who represents victims of negligence and families who lost loved ones in accidents. “We applaud the Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s efforts to make this important bus route a reality.”
According to the Dallas News, the circular bus route will offer free access to places such as the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, American Airlines Center, Klyde Warren Park, and the Bishop Arts District. Buses will run every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, the article said.
The Dallas News reported that the primary goals of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), which launched the bus route on November 4, included providing residents with a transportation system that’s less reliant on cars and offering visitors a way to reach the city’s popular destinations quicker.
Carse said public transportation initiatives can help reduce traffic congestion, which would mean fewer car accidents. “Giving our residents and visitors a convenient public transportation option such as the D-Link is a positive step toward reducing traffic accidents in the city,” Carse said. “We’ve seen the devastating impact of car accidents in Dallas. Injuries can be severe and sometimes fatal, and can lead to significant emotional and financial losses.”
Carse said attorneys can help victims of car accidents and families who lost loved ones in accidents pursue compensation. A lawyer also can hold the negligent individual or business accountable and send a message that careless behavior will not be tolerated in Dallas.
