Dan-Loc Group Achieves API Spec Q1 Certification, and Product Specific Monogram Certifications for API Spec 6A and API Spec 20E
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) November 17, 2016 -- Dan-Loc Group has been granted approval from the American Petroleum Institute to use the API Spec 20E Monogram (license number 20E-0022) and the API Spec 6A Monogram (license number 6A-1867), in addition to API Spec Q1 Manufacturing Certification. These API certifications along with ISO 9001:2008 Registration show Dan-Loc Group’s continued commitment to providing the highest quality bolting and sealing products to an international customer base in the global petroleum and natural gas industries.
API Spec 20E specifies requirements for the Qualification, Production and Documentation of alloy and carbon steel bolting used in the petroleum and natural gas industries. The 20E standard defines three levels of Bolting Specification Levels (BSL). Dan-Loc Group is certified for all levels - BSL-1, 2 and 3, while BSL-3 is addressing the highest level of severity in meeting technical, quality and qualification criteria. API Spec 20E certifies procurement, production and inspection processes for all sizes of roll threaded studs and all sizes of fully machined bolts, screws and nuts.
API Spec 6A specifies requirements for Wellhead and Christmas Tree Equipment for use in the petroleum and natural gas industries. Dan-Loc Group is certified to use the API-6A Monogram on all materials and sizes of manufactured ring joint gaskets.
