Dance Pizazz Announces Release of Fourth Spotlight Series Interview: Meet Erin Copeland
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Dance Pizazz, the St. Louis area funnest, friendliest dance studio, is proud of its instructors and wants to share their personal and ballroom dance stories. The fourth interview in our ‘Spotlight Series: Meet the Instructor’ (http://www.dance-pizazz.com) features Erin Copeland. Ms. Copeland is -like many of the Dance Pizazz instructors- a native Missourian, and is a full-time college student who has 5 years of ballroom dance experience. She admits that she first started dancing in her living room, a proud secret that eventually led her to become a member of her highschool’s Show Choir group. As an accomplished performer, the transition to ballroom dance was an easy one.
As her skillset grew, Ms. Copeland knew she wanted to share her newfound passion for ballroom dance with others. Ms. Copeland considers the two landmarks of ballroom dance: technique and musical expression, the two areas she focuses on as she teaches. Her approach to teaching is a relaxed and welcoming one, in which the student engages their unique learning style while staying positively challenged.
Overall, Ms. Copeland is grateful to ballroom dance for delivering a fun workout that also enables her to express herself. She finds teaching dance incredibly rewarding and is certain that teaching ballroom will be a part of her life for years to come. She’s also able to continue honing her performance skills through competitions and showcases, the latter being one of her favorite types of ballroom dance events.
Ms. Copeland believes that dancing has helped her on and off the dance floor. She wants others to know about how dance can help them expand their social circle while doing something positive for themselves. Go to http://www.dance-pizazz.com to learn more about Ms. Copeland’s story and how dancing has helped her become “a better person.”
