Dance Pizazz Reviews Sheeran's Ballroom Moves in the 2015 Wedding Dance Song of the Year
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) June 08, 2015 -- Ed Sheeran busts out his ballroom moves with his new music video for “Thinking Out Loud,” that was release October 7 of last year but is having effects as the most popular wedding song of 2015. The video has some “wow" factor because Ed Sheeran is the one dancing, according to http://www.axe.com. He may not be the most graceful or technically precise dancer, but it is hard to argue that he does not bring his own understanding of the song and sense of movement in the overall dance. In this video Ed Sheeran does a great job taking on the dance and conveying the song.
While the dance in the video does not match to the song perfectly, it does take on the characteristics of the song. Both the song and dance take classic and make it contemporary. In the video there are two figures in what would have been suit and fancy dress but was modernized with pants and vest with rolled up sleeves while his dance partner is in sheer floaty skirt, bustiere and bare feet. This is not just a classic Sinatra Foxtrot but has a contemporary twist. We see different elements woven throughout the dance from Tango in the beginning, a brief “rumba-esk” middle section and contemporary twirling on the floor. All of that could have been done with a professional dancer; however, Sheeran choose to learn the dancing himself for this video, quite a contrast from all his others.
Dance Pizazz knows the work Ed Sheeran puts into his video and enjoys working with students to develop a personalized programs to meet their needs. Their customized, flexible lesson-plan acknowledges students’. Life goals and learning curve, so they can set realistic ballroom dance goals. So come see what Dance Pizazz has to offer. Injecting fun and excitement into goals will get students dancing like Sheeran in no time.
