Daniel Hoff Named President of Carroll County Association of Realtors®, Inc.
Westminster, MD (PRWEB) October 03, 2014 -- Samuel C. Hoff Agency, a real estate and insurance agency determined to offer old fashion customer service with new world expertise, is proud to announce that Daniel Hoff is the 2015 President of the Carroll County Association of Realtors®, Inc.(CCAR).
Hoff was elected as this year’s President by the 600-plus membership of CCAR for his outstanding work and dedication to the Association, particularly in the arena of local politics, professional standards and finance. In addition to Hoff, Denise Lewis, President-Elect, Ivy K. Gifford, Treasurer, and Jackie Sellers, Secretary, were also installed as 2015 Officers of CCAR. The 58th Annual Installation of Officers and Directors took place on September 26th at The Portico at St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster, MD.
Hoff has been a licensed real estate agent and Realtor® for over 21 years and has extensive experience with residential real estate, land development, land/lot sales, farm sales and local agricultural land preservation programs. In addition to serving as President of CCAR this year, Hoff is also involved on a State Association level as a member of the Finance Committee of the Maryland Association of Realtors®, Inc.
Samuel C. Hoff Agency is a family owned business with deep roots in Carroll County, MD. Founded in 1967 by Hoff’s parents, Samuel and Georgia Hoff, the company has served the Maryland and Pennsylvania markets for over 47 years. Like their son Dan is now, both Sam and Georgia Hoff served as Presidents of CCAR in 1980 and 1986, respectively. Georgia Hoff was honored to be the Past President who installed her son at last week’s Installation.

Dan Hoff joined the family business in 1993, and has continued the tradition of serving the community and volunteering time for various civic duties, including serving on several local boards and task forces. He is currently a Member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for Carroll County, Vice Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Westminster, and acts as Treasurer of the Historic Belle Grove Square Neighborhood Association.
Dan was also recently recognized for his efforts to serve the agricultural community in Carroll County. On April 16, 2014, Hoff was awarded the Alice Mildred Shipley Carroll County Land Trust Conservation Award for his work in agricultural land preservation. This award recognizes Dan’s contribution in helping local farmers with the process of putting their land into agricultural land preservation programs to preserve farmland and help such farmers sustain their farming business by pulling the developmental equity out of their land in exchange for denying the sale of such land for large development purposes in the future.
