Grapevine, Texas (PRWEB) August 01, 2016 -- Daniel Walker, MD and Board Certified Dermatologist will join the team of Dermatology Associates of DFW, Grapevine, August 1st, bringing his expertise in diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis, acne, rosacea, eczema, melanoma and other skin cancers to patients in the DFW area.
Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in 2012 and completed a residency in Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 2016, where he served as Chief Dermatology Resident.
"I am very excited to be part of the wonderful community in Grapevine. With so much growth in north Texas, my family and I look forward to the many activities and events taking places all across the DFW metroplex.” stated Dr. Walker. “The old saying definitely applies to us...we may not have been born in Texas, but we got here as soon as possible!"
An accomplished writer, Dr. Walker has published work in multiple academic journals on various dermatologic conditions. He has volunteered his time and skills on mission trips to the Philippines and donates his expertise to a variety of local service organizations; contributing his time at charity based dermatology clinics and free skin cancer screening events.
Dr. Walker is happy to be returning to Texas with his family and enjoys time with them drawing, playing guitar and writing.
