Danny Wright Releases New Solo Piano Lullaby Album, Donates Signed Copies of Dream a Little Dream to Wrapped in Hope, a Program to Uplift Children Fighting Cancer
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Danny Wright treasures the daily interaction and harmonious relationship he has with his fans, so after years of hearing their requests for a lullaby album, the artist is thrilled to announce Dream a Little Dream: Classic Piano Lullabies. The album is noteworthy for its mix of 20 songs from beloved favorites like “Gershwin’s Lullaby” and “Clair De Lune,” to film favorites like “I’m Forrest” and original pieces like “Hayden’s Spirit,” which was written for Wright’s own son. His label, WH Sound Studio, is celebrating the launch by donating dozens of signed CDs to Wrapped in Hope.
Wrapped in Hope is a program that makes fleece blankets (or Warm Hugs as they like to call them) for kids battling cancer. It was founded by Lynn MacKay, and is run with her husband and sons. MacKay says, “Our mission at Wrapped in Hope is to provide comfort for kids battling cancer and wrap them in HOPE. It’s often cold in the hospital, so we provide a monogrammed handmade fleece blanket for each child, along with a CD of soothing music. Danny Wright is graciously donating signed copies of Dream A Little Dream, his collection of lullabies for us to send to these children. We know it will give these little warriors and their families peace, comfort and sweet dreams.”
While Wright’s gentle arrangements are certainly suitable for babies, the album is sophisticated enough to soothe restless hearts and minds of all ages. Regarding the new release, Wright says, "Dream A Little Dream has been a long time coming. For years I was asked to record a lullaby album. I am so excited to finally be creating such a sweet collection for all the dreamers out there. I would like to dedicate this album to my own little ones who aren’t so little anymore. It warms my heart that to this day they still play my music as they fall asleep."
The album is available now as a digital download for $9.99 on iTunes, or as individual tracks at .99 per song.
