Darn Tough Vermont Introduces Vertical Line
Northfield, Vermont (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- Darn Tough Vermont, the leading manufacturer of the fastest growing collection of outdoor performance socks in the USA, will be incorporating their current Ski/Ride category into Vertical, a new category that will debut at the 2014 Winter Outdoor Retailer (Booth 32150).
“Over the years we’ve expanded our Ski and Ride line to include an extensive range of socks for every type of downhill snow sport activity,” explains Ric Cabot, President and CEO of Darn Tough Vermont.
“We’ve found that categorizing socks into either ski or ride is artificial. Riders and skiers are choosing socks based on what’s best for them, not by how a company categorizes socks for their sport. Accordingly, we’ve decided to group all our downhill snow sport socks under one name: Vertical.”
Defined by bright color ways, bold fonts and vibrant patterns, Vertical will offer six new socks for men and women in addition to Darn Tough Vermont’s current Ski/Ride styles. The new Vertical socks will have the same comfort, fit and durability as Darn Tough Vermont’s classic Ski/Ride socks. The men’s collection will include new styles called Captain America, DT and Pinnacle with Yeti, Shortcake, and Peace Love Snow rounding out the new styles for the women’s collection (MSRP $23.00 - $25.00).
Each Vertical sock will be available in either Ultralight or Cushion, for a performance fit. Darn Tough Vermont’s new Vertical line will provide skiers and riders with a sock that looks great, feels great and doesn’t sacrifice performance for style.
Made with naturally antimicrobial, fine gauge Merino wool and True-Seamless™ knitting technology to create a virtually undetectable toe seam, Darn Tough Vermont socks aggressively wick moisture to keep feet dry, temperature regulated and comfortable. At 1,441 stitches per square inch, Darn Tough Vermont’s knitting is the highest density in the industry and ensures a smooth fit that reduces blisters, slipping and bunching.
Unconditionally guaranteed for life, each Darn Tough Vermont sock is designed, manufactured and tested in Northfield, Vermont for unrivaled comfort, fit and durability.
Darn Tough Vermont will be serving up their famous maple creemees topped with bacon at the 2014 Winter Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, Utah at Booth 32150 located in the Salt Palace Convention Center from January 22nd to the 25th. Socks from their new Vertical line will be available at select U.S. retail stores for Winter 2014. For more information about Darn Tough Vermont socks, please visit http://www.darntough.com.
