Data Across Sectors for Health National Coordinating Office Announces Funding Opportunity
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 08, 2015 -- DASH aims to support community collaborations to strengthen data and information sharing among partners, engage additional partners across and beyond traditional health sectors, and build sustainable capacity. DASH will award up to six grants, a maximum of $200,000 per collaboration, and will be made for either 12-month or 18-month periods.
DASH will create a learning collaboration that creates and shares models, and documents barriers, solutions, lessons learned, best practices, promising innovations, sustainable examples, and opportunities for replication. Within this learning collaboration, grantees will begin to define the body of knowledge to move this emerging field toward action. This work aims to increase community collaborations to successfully use shared data and information from multiple sectors to improve the health of communities. Additionally, the emerging research, lessons learned, and promising practices from leading communities will improve others’ ability to develop plans and systems for sharing data across sectors.
There are two phases in the competitive proposal process. The deadline for receipt of brief proposals is July 29, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. ET. By September 1, 2015 we will notify selected applicants that they have been invited to submit a full proposal. Applications must be submitted via the RWJF online system.
