Data Facts Inc Discusses Their New Progressive Background Screening Process
(PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- Data 360, the name of the new Data Facts innovative background screening process, allows a business to halt the screening process if the main indicators show a ‘fail’.
Tracie Coronado, Data Facts’ Director of Sales for the Background Screening division, explains, “During a background check, there are ‘hard stops’ for different job positions. For example, if a company is hiring a driver, a revoked driver’s license would be considered a ‘hard stop.’ With Data 360, our customers can screen the most pivotal information first. If it does not stand up to scrutiny, the entire screen is stopped.”
This is a new approach to screening applicants for employment. With an ordinary screen, the entire background check is ordered, paid for, and returned at the same time. Data 360, however, doesn’t waste time on candidates who are not qualified for the position.
Julie Wink, the EVP of Data Facts Inc, comments: “Being able to set up the background screening process this way ‘weeds out’ the applicants who are not a good fit, and does so early in the process. It allows our customers to concentrate their efforts on the right candidates. This is a win-win for all and shows our commitment to really partnering with our clients for their best, customized screening solution. ”
Utilizing Data 360 is simple. The customer and a Data Facts Account Executive decide on and put the hard stops into place based on the specific job position. The second, and even sometimes, third-tier of screening is then added.
With Data 360, customers order a full background screening package with the process being staged to complete certain services first. If the information returned is clear, then the order progresses to step 2 of the background screening process.
If step 1 returned adverse information that makes the applicant ineligible for hire, the report is closed and the client is only charged for the services completed, instead of the whole package price. Likewise, if step 2 returns adverse information, it is reviewed and determined if the applicant is ineligible for hire, or if the package should progress to step 3.
Step 3 typically consists of investigative reports which are usually more labor intensive. Only the clear applicants move into this stage.
Data 360 combines cutting edge technology with Data Facts’ experienced staff of Private Investigators. The process is monitored by internal team members. If they see a ‘flag’, they halt the process and report back to the customer.
Coronado adds, “It is a consultative selling approach: we partner with our customers to define the top priority background screen information, and then set their account up exactly the way they need it to be. This is not your run of the mill background check. Data 360 saves our customers from spending time and money on job candidates who are not a fit for the position.”
