Dating a Biker Means Nothing More Than Dating Someone Who Likes to Ride
Los Angles, Clifornia (PRWEB) July 28, 2013 -- Bikers often are unjustly linked to demeaning and unsavory stereotypes. Hollywood’s and the media’s anti-biker attitudes certainly do not help bikers into the mainstream. Still, the idea of one’s daughter dating a “biker” makes many men cringe. The fact is dating a biker means nothing more than dating someone who likes to ride. What’s not to like? Here are three reasons bikers make great dates:
1. The International Field: Bikers come from all over the world. It is a worldview and a way of life that transcends nationality and local custom. For those who like to ride and experience the spontaneity of adventure along with beautiful scenery, Bikers can find comrades everywhere on Earth. There are not too many lifestyles or philosophies that can say this, and it is worth a lot. Literally, the world is a Biker’s oyster. Imagine dating people who are willing, able and ready to travel anywhere in the world on the most scenic roads in an eco-friendly way.
2. Bikers are Independent and Confident: Being a Biker is not for the faint of heart. Let’s face it. Bikers can spend hours if not days riding along deserted and rarely travelled roads. They can end up in places that the phrase “out in the Boonies” cannot even begin to describe. In order to live life like this, a Biker has to feel sure of himself/herself that no matter what happens, they will be able to manage. This trait alone is worth dating a Biker. Who wants to date a spineless, fearful, cowering creature?
3. Most Bikers are not Criminals: A Biker is not necessarily a criminal, it fact, the odds are they are not. Do not let stereotypes dissuade you from an entire group of people who like to ride. It is not illegal to ride a motorcycle; it is not illegal to live life differently from the rat race of Capitalism, and it is not illegal to be free from schedules, freeways, and convention.
