ST. CHARLES, Mo. (PRWEB) March 05, 2018 -- The 14th Annual Builders St. Charles Home Show is April 6-8 at St. Charles Convention Center. It is the place for area homeowners to see, learn about and buy the latest home products and services from more than 250 companies, many of them local, and have their questions answered by the experts. David Sheinkopf will appear at the show on Friday and Saturday.
David starred in more than 100 episodes of HGTV's Design on a Dime, where he helped everyday people on a budget find designs that they loved. He will share design ideas in his seminar Reserve the Right to Beautify your Home. Show visitors will learn how to choose the perfect paint colors, create focal points, and much more. With a few of David’s design tips, homeowners can start down the path to creating something beautiful, using concrete suggestions and tips on how he and other professional designers ‘Reserve the Right to Beautify.’
Having been a master craftsman for over 20 years, David has discovered that designing and building things has filled a void in his life. He began building sets for commercials and music videos, which soon led to art direction and set design. In 2004, David opened the doors to Shein Design, Inc., a full-service design/build firm, which has been designing and implementing ideas for restaurants, retail shops and bars for more than 10 years. He also discovered a niche market for designing and building high-end custom pieces for celebrity clientele.
Though he loved the furniture-making work, he wanted to blend that passion with being in front of the camera. Working on HGTV’s Design on a Dime launched him in that direction. After four and a half years and more than 100 shows, he realized that helping people with the design dilemmas of their lives felt good. He continued on that road, working on The Greg Berendt Show and Lowe’s Creative Ideas Magazine. His most recent stint was as a master builder on Ellen's Design Challenge for the HGTV network.
In 2014, the RIDGID Tool Company contacted David about partnering with their company as a spokesperson and endorsing their products as an expert in his field. His work was so well received they created a talk show around his hosting abilities called Toolin' Around that began airing in the summer of 2016. His relationship with RIDGID has continued with a podcast highlighting the work of craftsmen all over the globe.
In 2017 he began a very exciting partnership with DexYP, helping small business customers bring the presence they need to gain more clientele in a growing and competitive marketplace.
David will present his seminar Reserve the Right to Beautify your Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 8.
