DCSL Software amongst first organisations in the world to achieve latest ISO 9001:2015 quality certification
London (PRWEB UK) 15 January 2016 -- The world’s best recognised quality standard – ISO 9001 – was revised in September 2015 to ensure it remains recognised as global best practice for organisations looking to implement a Quality Management System.

To demonstrate this commitment, they sought independent certification to the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 27001 information security standards in 2013.
To demonstrate their commitment even further, DCSL Software volunteered to take part in the ‘Early Adopter’ accreditation process with their certifier – the British Assessment Bureau – in order to be one of the first companies to make the transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
The British Assessment Bureau was one of only eight Certification Bodies in the UK to be part of the Early Adopter process, with DCSL Software being one of the audits witnessed by the UK’s National Accreditation Body – UKAS – to ensure the British Assessment Bureau could demonstrate their ability to audit against the newly revised standard.
As a result, not only are DCSL Software one of the first organisations to be granted certification to the new ISO 9001:2015 in the UK, they are one of the first in the world due to their involvement in the Early Adopter process.
Following the news, Nick Thompson, DCSL Software’s Director said;

With the new ISO 9001:2015 placing more emphasis on demonstrating processes, rather than simply documenting, them we have been able to show that we truly believe in the importance of delivering a considered, quality service.”
Keith Goddard, Compliance Manager at the British Assessment Bureau was keen to congratulate DCSL Software, saying;

DCSL Software’s ISO 9001 is not only a useful framework internally, certification helps to satisfy customer requirements too. Nick commented on how the certification helps when pitching for new work;

The British Assessment Bureau is now working with UKAS on achieving accreditation for another recently updated standard, ISO 14001:2015. Setting out requirements on creating an Environmental Management System, it helps organisations reduce environmental impact and save money. Sharing the same core structure with other ISO management standards, it’s also become easier to integrate as part of one single Management System.
