DDC FPO Stands for Sustainable Ecosystems with WildEarth Guardians
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) July 17, 2014 -- DDC FPO, the world leader in freight process outsourcing and a division of The DDC Group, a global network of business process outsourcing (BPO) experts and solutions, is honored to have participated for a second consecutive year as the Executive Sponsor of the WildEarth Guardians (WEG) 25th anniversary annual Howling Affair benefit dinner in Denver, Colorado. In line, the company’s corporate philosophy to give back, DDC FPO's Chief Executive Officer Marissa Crotty attended the event on behalf of DDC's sole industry-focused division.
This event represented a critical milestone for WEG, a wildlife preservation non-profit organization based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico as the group has significantly expanded their scope since its founding over two decades ago. At its 25-year mark, WEG celebrates the launch of an in-house legal team to initiate policy reform and uphold environmental law, as well as its Endangered Species Act legal settlement, which has ushered in a new era of wildlife protection for more than 1,000 plants and animals.
In addition to raising an estimated $50,000 for wildlife conservation, other noteworthy achievements highlighted at the affair ranged from saving the Spotted Owl from extinction to preserving ancient forests and the Rio Grande. Marissa Crotty speaks to her strongly held patronage of WEG endeavors stating, “DDC FPO chooses to support WildEarth Guardians because of the transparent and genuine ways in which they fight for the voiceless wildlife of the American West with such passion and leadership.”
Marissa expounds on her sentiment for wildlife and wild places by adding that, “At the core of WEG is a true grassroots sense of community and love for endangered species that so desperately need protection and preservation.”
“My hope is that more people will see the necessity and intrinsic value in saving the endangered of not only the American West, but across the globe," Crotty adds.
