Debra Jasper To Keynote Pubcon SFIMA Summit 2017 Conference

Jasper is an international keynote speaker who specializes in helping business leaders take advantage of powerful new platforms and visual approaches to engage audiences and build deeper connections. In addition, Jasper directed The Ohio State University’s Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism, where she launched the first social media journalism fellowship in the world – working with journalists from top newsrooms including CNN, 60 Minutes, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times.
Jasper served as the 2012 national keynote speaker for KeyBank, giving talks to thousands of business leaders on a 17-city tour from Florida to Alaska, and also taught graduate courses on the impact of digital media on public policy during her tenure in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at Ohio State, one of the largest universities in the U.S.
Jasper has a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University and two degrees in journalism. Previously Jasper was an award-winning investigative journalist, who also spent a decade covering presidential campaigns and politics.
