Deceleration Signal Invented by InventHelp Client (CCP-1072)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 09, 2015 -- Backing off of the accelerator may seem like an easy maneuver. However, for drivers who may not even be aware they are traveling too fast, it can be a challenge. Fortunately, an inventor from Villa Park, Ill., has discovered how to let drivers know as soon as they surpass the legal speed limit.
He developed SPEED MINDER to warn drivers to reduce their speed when their vehicle travels faster than the posted speed limit. As such, it helps prevent automobile accidents that cause injuries and deaths. It, thus, reduces the number of traffic citations issued for speeding. In turn, it saves the cost of paying expensive fines for speeding tickets. At the same time it aids habitual offenders to break the habit and slow down. It is also convenient, effective and user friendly. In addition, it cannot be disconnected or removed.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I thought of this when I noticed the difference between the posted speed limit and the speed displayed on my vehicle GPS,” he said. “I decided an audible warning was needed to alert drivers to slow down as soon as the GPS speed exceeded the legal speed limit.”
