December 10, 2014 Marks the 18th Annual EGBAR Golf Tournament Sponsored by Simple Green!
Huntington Beach, California (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Simple Green is proud to sponsor the EGBAR Foundation’s largest philanthropic event of the year. The EGBAR Golf Tournament will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club located at 11 Strawberry Farms Road in Irvine, CA 92612.
The EGBAR Foundation is a non-profit founded in 1989 by Simple Green CEO and founder Bruce FaBrizio that supports educational programs across the United States and Canada. Succeeding an afternoon of golf, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony, a lively auction will round out the day's activities. The EGBAR adds a generous donation on top of the money raised by the tournament and post golf activities.
The money will all be donated to a North American pre, elementary, middle, high school, college, university or foundation of the entrant's choice. Over the years the EGBAR Foundation golf tournament has cumulatively given more than a million dollars to schools to fund arts programs, athletics, books, and technology and literacy initiatives. Last year's tournament raised $137,000 and donated to schools all over Southern California and in 14 other states.
“ I don’t know any other charitable event that allows participants to designate where they would like their donation to go,” states Simple Green’s Senior VP of Sales and Operations, Jeff Hyder. “Our participants get to play a round of golf, eat a good meal and have the money donated go to the charity of their choice. This is a very unique format.”
In advance of the EGBAR Foundation Golf Tournament, Bruce FaBrizio stated: “For this year’s tournament we are poised to raise more money than ever before, and we at EGBAR will proudly match it. There is nothing more important than the education of our children, and with this tournament we will hopefully make a little sunshine for our future.”
