Decision First Technologies Names Steve Freeman Vice President, Field Operations

Freeman, with over 15 years of sales experience, will execute and lead DFT’s go-to-market strategy development for services and sales.

In his new role Freeman will be responsible for all aspects of enterprise and mid-market sales, services delivery, customer success and development. He will work closely with the sales and services teams developing strategies to improve offerings, delivery processes, and customer service.
Freeman joined Decision First Technologies after successfully running business intelligence for itelligence, SAP’s largest global reseller. There he managed the go-to-market strategy and execution of itelligence’s North American Business Intelligence practice, focusing on EEC/BusinessObjects optimization and HANA.
Prior to joining itelligence, Freeman was Vice President for North America Sales for Endeca Technologies, an in-memory search and analytics company based in Boston, Massachusetts that was acquired by Oracle in 2010. While at Endeca, Freeman broadened the overall customer strategy beyond Retail into Manufacturing, Media and Government Intel and drove over 200% revenue growth eclipsing 100M in annual revenue.
Leadership is another strong area for Freeman. As Vice President of North American General Business Sales and North American Channels for Business Objects, he fostered annual revenue growth from under 100 million in 1997 to over one billion at his departure in 2004.
