Following the Dynamics Communities Summit, deFacto will sponsor the Microsoft Dynamics US Industry Summit in November 2016 in Coronado CA.
At the Dynamics Communities Summit, the deFacto 5K race will be run on Thursday, October 13 at 6:45 a.m. at the Riverwalk in MacDill Park in Tampa, and will be timed. All proceeds will be donated to Metropolitan Ministries (http://metromin.org/), which cares for the homeless in the Tampa FL community through services that include food, shelter, child care, education, and job training.
“There is nothing like participating in a charity event to remind us about how lucky we are to be able to help those that are less fortunate,” said deFacto founder and CEO Bob Bedard.
Committed to supporting a range of charitable causes, the 5K race in Tampa is one of many events deFacto will host throughout the year. To ensure that 100% of the money raised goes directly to the charity, deFacto will underwrite the cost to organize, promote, advertise and manage the 5K event. In addition, the registration process will take each participate directly to the Metropolitan Ministries website.
To support Metropolitan Ministries in its aid to the homeless, a minimum donation of $35 will be charged for individuals to participate in the race. Partners who donate $500 or more can have their logo printed on the event’s T-shirt.
“Companies and individuals have been extremely generous in supporting our 5K events and we look forward to seeing all our friends and associates at this year’s 5K Summit in Tampa,” said deFacto CEO Bob Bedard.
Bedard urges all Dynamics Communities Summit attendees to join the race. “There are a lot of great reasons to participate in the deFacto 5K,” he said. “It’s a great way to have fun, get some exercise, enjoy friendly competition, spend more time with Dynamics colleagues, and support the good work of Metropolitan Ministries.”
