deFacto Global Will Host The deFacto 5K Charity Event at Dynamics Communities Summit 2015 in Reno
Ridgefield, CT (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- deFacto Global, the leading provider of corporate planning software, is pleased to announce the sponsorship of a 5K race to benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada in the Greater Reno area. deFacto will host The deFacto 5K Reno 2015 during the week of Dynamics Community Summit 2015 with the objective of raising $15,000 for the Food Bank.
The 5K race will take place at Virginia Lake Park on Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 am. Buses will be provided to and from the park.
“The Summit facilitates learning, business, and community among the Microsoft Dynamics family of users and ISVs, and we feel that hosting The deFacto 5K event is a great way for the entire Dynamics community to come together, share our collective success, engage in a healthy running competition, and support a good cause at the same time,” said deFacto founder and CEO Bob Bedard. The deFacto 5K will give participants a chance to win a remote-controlled drone via a “Lucky Me” raffle.
“We also plan to add some fun and drive participation by giving special awards for things like Most Interesting Running Outfit and Most Spirited Team,” said Bedard.

deFacto is underwriting all costs associated with The deFacto 5K so 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to The Food Bank of Northern Nevada. A minimum donation of $35 is requested for individuals to participate, and companies that donate $500 or more can have their logo printed on the event tee-shirt.
