Defense Secretary Ash Carter To Address 2015 Reagan National Defense Forum
Simi Valley, CA (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library today announced that U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter will provide the closing remarks at the 2015 Reagan National Defense Forum.
“We are honored to have Secretary Carter address this year’s forum,” said John Heubusch, Executive Director of the Ronald Reagan Foundation and Library. “In his short, but eventful tenure as Secretary of Defense he has provided steady leadership that is an extension of his lifetime of work in national security strategy and defense policy. The Reagan National Defense Forum has a proud history of hosting Secretaries of Defense, including Secretary Chuck Hagel, Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary Robert Gates. Centered on the theme of “Peace through Strength in a Time of Transition and Turbulence,” the Forum will convene at the Reagan Library on November 7, 2015.
The registration fee for the conference is $249 per person and includes free admission into the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum and Air Force One Pavilion. A special “Early Bird” registration is available through August 31, 2015, at the reduced rate of $225 per person. Active military are $149 per person.
