Dental Associates, PC Welcomes Dr. Christina Mulcahy To The West Des Moines, Iowa Dental Clinic
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (PRWEB) February 02, 2018 -- Providing comprehensive dental care for families for over 40 years has been the foundation of Dental Associates, PC. Currently staffed with dentists Dr. Kenton C. Gleichman, Dr. Stephen M. Karbacka, Dr. Benjamin J. Nagel, Dr. Thomas C. Quick and Dr. Thomas G. Small and over 30 dental professionals and supporting staff, Dental Associates, PC, is welcoming a new member to the team.
In February, Dr. Christina Mulcahy will be joining Dental Associates, PC and returning to the community with her husband Matt and son Carter. She will not only be carrying on the long-standing tradition of this well established dental clinic but will also be joining her father, Dr. Gleichman, as a next generation dental professional.
Dr. Christina Mulcahy attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for her undergraduate studies. Following in her father and uncle’s footsteps she attended University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013. After graduating from dental school, she moved to Dallas, Texas with her husband where she has been practicing for the last 4 ½ years.
Her dental care profession at a private practice has provided her with extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of dentistry including restoring dental implants, crown and bridge, root canals, composites and aesthetic dentistry. In addition, Dr. Mulcahy practiced at Community Dental Care in Dallas where she provided much needed oral health for the underserved population.
Dental patients and their families will find that Dr. Mulcahy will focus on oral health and preventative dentistry education during their regular visits. Starting this educational process at an early age is an important factor in achieving excellent quality of life for her patients.
Traveling through Europe, with her favorite stops in Switzerland to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and running a half marathon are just a few of the activities Dr. Mulcahy enjoys outside of taking care of her patients. She does have to admit that the birth of her son has made it challenging to stay as active, and understands how parents are constantly pulled in different directions.
