Denver’s SXSW World Cannabis Week Expects Record Turnout
Denver, CO (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller could be about to start a legal revolution that will be televised from the what’s been referred to in the media as the “SXSW of Pot” in Denver officially known as “World Cannabis Week”.
Judge Mueller’s in California is examining the legality of America’s marijuana laws, she may be on the verge of throwing the entire system into chaos changing the course of history for marijuana legalization. Media insiders are forecasting an historic celebration expecting a positive decision from the outcome at World Cannabis Week.
SXSW 2015 attendees were a “buzz” as they encountered a new marijuana-themed billboard touting “World Cannabis Week” in Austin, Texas. Rep. David Simpson's (R-Longview) called for legalization in the Lone Star State to give the people what they demand. That demand for a vision of legal cannabis takes Texas and tourists from around the world to Denver. While marijuana remains illegal in some states, the sign touts a conference, concerts, and cannabis in Colorado during "4/20 week" -- a date where marijuana enthusiasts get together to get high. The team at “World Cannabis Week” has been avalanched with celebrities and media requests from around the world.
My420Tours, travel partner of World Cannabis Week, estimates a 4000% increase in attendance of worldwide travelers wanting a taste of pot legalization. “World Cannabis Week has become the international epicenter of all things cannabis. We were first to market with our concept and are proud to set the standard of service for the emerging cannabis tourism industry,” states J.J. Walker.
"Marijuana has become mainstream and celebrities are coming out of the closet to celebrate their cannabis consumption. Knowing and working with J.J. and his team we know that everyone gets star treatment,” states Cheryl Shuman who will be hosting the VIP Celebrity, Investor & Media suite.
“The bottom line is this movement is bigger than any one state or business," notes JJ Walker, CEO of My420Tours. "People will always love coming to Denver for the mountains, the museums, the nightlife, and now they get to enjoy all of those things with legal marijuana. We are proud to represent excellence with the adventure of a lifetime in 420 tourism celebrating our national expansion," states Walker.
