Department of Legal Services Announces Expansion Plans
Eugene, OR (PRWEB) January 17, 2015 -- When a team of experienced professionals came together a few years ago to found the Department of Legal Services, LLC, they promised to use their extensive industry experience to go above and beyond client expectations, taking process serving to a whole new level.
Following their highly successful launch in 2012, the team of pros, who have decades of industry experience combined, have set their sights on making 2015 the year of expansion. The Eugene-based agency has announced plans to add a full complement of services to better meet its clients’ needs. The agency will soon launch such services as armed and unarmed sentry guards, armed alarm response, armed money courier, private investigations, nationwide court record retrieval, concealed gun permit classes and skip tracing.
The agency is staffed by professionals who believe that good enough simply is not. While process serving is the founding backbone of the company, the philosophy behind this service will guide the entire expansion.
“In today’s legal environment, precision and accountability are musts,” explained Jeremy “Judge” Honor, Department of Legal Services’ director of operations. “We take our duties seriously, documenting our results every step of the way to ensure our clients get the timely results they need. Just as we’ve distinguished ourselves in the processing arena, we intend to do the same in our expansion arenas.”
The Department of Legal Services, LLC stands out from the competition in the way it handles every case it takes on. Its initial business arm – process serving – clearly demonstrates the agency's commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and fast results.
“When we are tasked with a job, it becomes our main focus,” Honor explained. “That’s why we don’t wait three days to make the first serve attempt like many of our competitors. In fact, if we have an available process server on the day an order is placed, we'll make that first attempt right away without additional charge to our clients.”
Department of Legal Services, LLC process servers aren't keen on handling defeat either. Basic orders include up to four serve attempts, compared to the competitions’ two. “We believe in seeing a job through to successful completion,” Honor said. “It’s our aim to get the job done with expedience, professionalism and courtesy. That philosophy will guide the implementation of every new service, as well.”
Accountability is a big part of what makes the Department of Legal Services, LLC different. “We use either body cameras or audio recordings when we attempt each serve,” Honor said. “When we complete a successful serve, these recordings provide the proof clients need so there is no disputing that papers were placed in the proper recipient’s hands.”
In addition to four service attempts, proof of service and same-day service, when available, the agency also offers notarized proof of service at no charge. Department of Legal Services, LLC will also file proof of service at the court house at no extra charge.
That same level of accountability and professionalism will be found in each new service addition introduced in 2015. The new services are anticipated to be phased in throughout the year with expansion completion expected sometime this summer.
