Design By Humans Teams with St. Jude PLAY LIVE
Chico, CA (PRWEB) May 21, 2016 -- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is hosting an event called PLAY LIVE. Twitch.tv allows gamers to live stream the video games they are playing, and people can watch and comment on the games as they are being played. For this event, these gamers are able to share their live stream and their followers with St. Jude, as Twitch is co-sponsoring the event. Followers are now offered the chance to donate to a worthy cause while they watch and comment on the games being played. Some particular gamers involved with the campaign include @SeriouslyClara, and @Tactical_Pinup.
Groundbreaking art collective Design By Humans (DBH) is offering the opportunity to create fresh designs centered around the PLAY LIVE gaming campaign. Gamers are able to stream live through Twitch.tv and raise money and awareness for the hospital for a limited time, and during this time each gamer or team of gamers has the chance to create a t-shirt design with DBH.
A portion of the proceeds from these designs goes to help the hospital, furthering the fundraising process. The DBH banner to start the process appears at the top of gamers’ screens on the site. Gamers can click and begin designing at any time. These designs are available in a variety of sizes and colors, and the prices vary. Every little bit helps to make a child’s life better.
DBH is promoting St. Jude with this campaign in an effort to create positive change. This opens up the creative process to people who might not normally consider making a design like this. Inclusion is very important, especially to a campaign like this which is spreading awareness about current issues. This collective is a talented, warm-hearted group of people who are expanding their program in such a way as to bring a wonderful organization into the spotlight and draw attention to it.
