Design Styles Architecture Makes List of Largest Tampa Bay Architecture Firms and Announces New Partners

Design Styles Architecture is recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal and appoints three new partners in the firm.

Design Styles Architecture has recently been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal for being one of Tampa Bay’s largest Architecture firms in 2020, ranking #9 overall. Each year the Tampa Bay Business Journal generates lists week by week of the top-rated companies in their fields, by ranking, ultimately producing a “Book of Lists” for the year. For consumers and industry professionals seeking leaders in their market, the Book of Lists provides key insights into the top performers in each industry. DSA’s ranking for 2020 is the firm’s highest ranking since opening in 1998.

Additionally, at the start of the year DSA appointed three new partners, Jenny Callahan, Keira McNeal, and Alex Andreakos to serve in various roles within the company. These new partners join the existing partners, CEO and founder Andy Dohmen as well as COO Jason Dickens, in leading the firm.

Jenny Callahan, AIA is now a principal serving as Director of Architecture. Jenny started with the company in 2007, has over 15 years of experience in the industry, and is a registered Florida Architect. She attended Wentworth Institute of Technology, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture. Jenny provides design leadership and guidance to the firm’s architectural teams to produce designs and associated deliverables.

Keira McNeal is now a principal serving as Director of HR & Accounting. Keira started with the company in 2006 and has worked in the accounting and human resources fields for over 20 years. She attended St. Pete College, where she earned her Associates in Liberal Arts. Keira brings her years of experience and expertise to the team and handles all accounting and human resources functions for the firm on a day to day basis.

Alex Andreakos is now a principal serving as Director of Business Development. Alex started with the company in 2011 and has over 13 years of experience in the industry. Alex attended the University of South Florida, where he received his Master’s in Architecture. He began his career in architecture and visualization before moving to the business and operations side of the firm. Alex manages the firm’s business development, marketing, and client relations. Additionally, Alex serves as director of architectural visualization, immersive technologies, and interactive design tools.
