The 2015 Spring Equinox takes place on March 20 where the sun rises in due east and sets in due west. The event is also called the March or Vernal Equinox.
Earth. Visualized. gives the curious an interactive experience to explore views of our planet that are normally invisible to the eye, yet critical to understanding humanity’s role in the environment.

The app showcases over twenty interactive 3D visualizations of Earth including land, cloud, water, temperature and anomaly data. The app receives satellite and data from NASA, NOAA and other sources to present views of the planet.
