Detechtion’s Enalysis Software to Support Predictive Maintenance Initiative
(PRWEB) June 10, 2015 -- Detechtion Technologies announced today that DTE Gas has selected Detechtion’s Enalysis Software as a Service to improve utilization, reliability, and availability of their reciprocating compressors at their Belle River site. DTE Gas’s goal is to utilize the technology infrastructure investment they have already made to accomplish a move to a predictive maintenance culture.
“We have invested in a substantial amount of infrastructure products to solve the issues we were having with getting the most efficiency out of our compression fleet, but all we were getting was from this investment was data,” said Mary Savalle, DTE Gas’s Senior Reliability Engineer. “Enalysis utilizes that data to give us actionable information that we could not get with the performance monitoring we were executing through our process historian.”
“Many companies in the natural gas compression industry believe they have solved the efficiency issues with their compression fleets by deploying some sort of performance monitoring system,” said Mike Hill, Detechtion’s SVP of Sales and Marketing. “Without predictive analytic applications to utilize the data, they are relying on setting thresholds on process data and simple correlations which do not produce the accuracy required to truly drive towards peak efficiency of their compression fleets.”
