Developer TribePlay Releases Dr. Panda’s Home, Surpasses 15 Million Downloads
Chengdu & Shanghai (PRWEB) November 27, 2013 -- Acclaimed kids’ app developer TribePlay has announced that they have surpassed 15 million downloads this November, fueled in part by the success of their recent release of Dr. Panda’s Airport. Dr. Panda’s Airport was launched on August 22nd on the App Store, Amazon and Google Play, where it ranked very highly in Education and Kids charts on these app stores for months after it’s release. TribePlay has reported that it was their biggest launch ever and broke all previous sales records.
Hot on the heels of this news, TribePlay has also announced the next title in their hit Dr. Panda series: Dr. Panda’s Home, which will be released November 27th. The game is in full 3D, a first for TribePlay, and transforms the animal characters familiar to fans of the series into beautifully animated 3D characters.
Thijs Bosma, founder of TribePlay, says, “Dr. Panda’s Home is our biggest and most ambitious game to date. It has more content, more animations, and more interactions than any of our previous games. We’ve also found that younger kids also seem to really click with the household chore theme, because it's something very familiar to them."
Dr. Panda’s Home features 5 fully animated animal characters in a 4-floor house with over 20 different multi-step activities from doing laundry to feeding and taking care of two interactive pet rabbits. It also features a unique system where players are given a text-less “to-do list” of certain activities in the game. By completing the chores on this list, they will earn coins that they can use to purchase cute and funny items to decorate their home with.
TribePlay, committed to a multi-platform approach, will launch Dr. Panda’s Home on Apple and Android devices on the same day: November 27th. It will be available on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon for $2.99 (€2.69, £1.99).
