Development Transformations Wins UK Foreign Office’s Global Conflict, Security and Stability Fund (CSSF)
Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- The CSSF mechanism is designed to fund programming with a strategic approach in conflict-affected states where the United Kingdom has key interests. The new fund will pool resources from across the UK government to enable increased collaboration and linkages through all of the UK’s conflict programming. The fund places an emphasis on single cross-government strategies, coherence between conflict and national security work, and will implement targeted interventions aimed at supporting stability including rapid and crisis response.
DT applied to, and was selected as, a winner of two of the three thematic program lots. The first, “Conflict Prevention, Stabilisation, and Peacebuilding,” will implement programming in the areas of peace-building, stabilization, civil-society engagement, strategic communication and outreach, and conflict prevention. The second is to provide “Defence Support Services” including advice, support for military exercise training, and other defense services.
DT works with donor agencies, host governments, civil society, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate political transition and conflict programs. Our diverse experience in the NGO, inter-governmental, civilian, and military sectors allows us to take a holistic approach to our work. We excel at operating in complex, non-permissive environments and have an established track record in some of the most fluid security and political contexts. DT currently has offices and is registered in Yemen, Libya, Tunisia, Lebanon, Turkey, and Ukraine.
