Dexas Introduces Pink Cutting Boards in Support of National Breast Cancer Foundation
Coppell, TX (PRWEB) October 04, 2017 -- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Dexas International Ltd. has partnered with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to directly support their programs including improved access to mammography screenings and patient navigation, which guides patients through the complex steps of cancer care.

As part of a shared commitment to support women and their families, Dexas has unveiled a new partnership program with NBCF. A portion of sales of a newly created pink cutting board, in a special shade of hot pink, will be donated directly to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Proceeds will go toward raising awareness and providing early detection and treatment support for those facing breast cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. However, when breast cancer is detected early, in the localized stage, the five-year relative survival rate is nearly 100%. Since 2001, NBCF has provided over one million early detection screenings and breast health services to women in need.
