Diablo Valley Relaunches Website, DiabloValleyCA.com
Concord, Calif. (PRWEB) June 07, 2016 -- Diablo Valley Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) announces the launch of its newly redesigned website, DiabloValleyCA.com. The new site recreates the approachable, accessible and authentic feel of Diablo Valley — a geographic area in San Francisco’s East Bay that includes anchor city Concord along with five other communities: Clayton, Martinez, Pacheco, Pleasant Hill and part of Walnut Creek. Key features of the user-friendly site include a refreshed look, responsive design, enhanced navigation, interactive maps and a customized trip-planning tool for visitors.
“From amenities and itineraries to events and attractions, our new website provides the key information busy planners and travelers are looking for, said Diablo Valley TBID President Jack Hlavac. “It offers everything you need to make your decision to visit and stay here easier than ever.”
The new website reflects the success of Diablo Valley and the need to further differentiate the TBID from other Bay Area destinations. From its inception in June 2013 through June 2015, Diablo Valley has generated $2,163,812.01 in revenue from a 3 percent hotel room revenue collection from participating hotels.
"The formation of the TBID has created awareness for Concord — both as a leisure destination and as a business location,” said John Montagh, Economic Development & Housing Manager for the City of Concord. “We’re already experiencing a positive financial impact from increased room nights from large groups and events that are coming to the area vs. other Bay Area locations.”
The new website, which was created by the TBID’s agencies of record — Red Sky and Carew Co. — will continue to be updated with fresh, compelling content and new events and attractions, helping to demonstrate why undecided planners and travelers should choose Diablo Valley as their home base to experience the best of the Bay Area.
